SafePaper

Private file tools for the stuff you can't upload.

Almost every "free online PDF tool" quietly ships your file off to someone's server. SafePaper doesn't. It runs 250+ tools for documents, media, data and dev work right inside your browser, across 23 workspaces, with OCR, encryption and even a local AI assistant. Your files never leave the tab, and most of it still works with the Wi-Fi off. I build and run the whole thing on my own.

I care about the parts
nobody demos.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer I own the whole customer relationship, not a ticket in it. I figure out what a company actually needs, build it, get it through compliance, and keep it accurate long after everyone's moved on to the next thing.

I came up through full-stack engineering. These days my work lives in workflow orchestration, browser automation and applied LLM systems, mostly for healthcare, which is a polite way of saying the mistakes are expensive.

The interesting problems are never in the demo. They're in retry logic, audit trails, and the failure modes you only find at 2am. I spend my time on the difference between something that works once and something you can walk away from for a year.
